Painting Parties With Carolyn
At Carolyn Jarvis Art in Brisbane, Queensland, I conduct ability-appropriate painting parties for all ages and stages, for children and adults. These special occasions are designed to provide you and your guests with an opportunity to celebrate in a fun and memorable way.
For Children and Teens
If you’re looking to make your child’s next birthday party fun and arty, then get in touch with me at Carolyn Jarvis Art. My painting parties are delightfully hands on, and every child goes home with their own masterpiece based on your chosen theme.
How It Works
You dream up the theme, and I’ll dream up the painting. I’ll come to your house or event location, and we’ll all have a wonderful time creating the artworks with my step-by-step introduction and assistance.
Everyone will paint the same thing, but each painter can use his or her imagination to choose colours and add his or her own elements. Additionally, each painter will be thrilled as they go home with their own gorgeous masterpiece on canvas.
On the Party Day
I will arrive at the party location approximately 30 minutes early to set up. Once all of your guests arrive, I will begin the painting session right away. If you want to have breaks for refreshments, that’s fine.
What I Provide
Party invitations, designed by Carolyn
Canvases, prepared with an image designed by Carolyn, based on your chosen theme
Artist quality acrylic paints, palettes and brushes
Painting entertainment that lasts approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on their age, ability and what we are painting
Aprons for everyone to wear
If needed, tablecloths to protect the table from spills
Cost
$280 for up to 10 painters
$25 for each additional painter over 10 people
$50 deposit that is not refundable if you need to cancel (Although, I understand if you need to reschedule the party due to illness, weather, etc.)

For Adults - 'Create a Canvas' Parties
Make your next get together fun! A party with Carolyn Jarvis Art is delightfully hands-on and everyone goes home with their own masterpiece based on your theme and designed by me.
During these events, I’ll assist you and your guests step by step in creating artworks. I’ll make sure that all of your guests have a great time and finish feeling proud of their masterpieces.

I Provide
Canvases, painted with gesso and prepared with an image designed by Carolyn, based on your chosen theme
Artist quality acrylic paints, palettes, and brushes
Painting entertainment for you and your guests that lasts approximately 2 hours
